Following The Reunion concert earlier this year, the original queens of Six came together to create their very own girl band, very fittingly called Seven. And first up on the agenda was another concert with Thespie, this time called Girl Power, celebrating girl bands through the decades.
Featuring songs ranging from the Supreme's "Up the Ladder to the Roof," to a fantastic rendition of "Lady Marmalade," all of their personalities come across incredibly well in the music. And all of the time they spent together on the West End has led to a group that is so incredibly in sync. These ladies pay homage to iconic girl groups from the Spice Girls to Little Mix and arguably deserve to be put on the same level as them.
It's wonderful to see so much joy onstage, as well as to see how close they are offstage with questions in between the songs. Whether being asked to describe one another, giving advice, or asking who their biggest inspiration is it gives another glimpse into their personalities and shows the bond that they all share. And it's worth hoping that we will see more of them in the new year, as it is clear that they all have so much to offer.
