Throughout the month of July, we will be picking one member of a Broadway shows and writing a short piece about them for our performer of the week. This week we're featuring Mike Faist of Dear Evan Hansen.
Faist made his Broadway debut in Newsies alongside Jeremy Jordan and Kara Lindsay. He originated the role of Morris Delancey as well as being a part of the ensemble and the original understudy for Jordan's character of Jack Kelly. Currently he is playing Connor Murphy as a member of the original Broadway cast of Dear Evan Hansen alongside Ben Platt and Rachel Bay Jones. He was also nominated for his first Tony awards for Best Featured Actor in a Musical for his role as Connor.
